@federicomena I understand what you're saying, but I'd suggest a different route.

I think the C++ committee should start deprecating features that are broken. Namely pointers.

Make it so that if you want to use them you need some obscure compiler flag that is non-standard. Let the compiler vendors deal with the migration and move the language on.
