Looking at Github Actions:

Seems that you can basically get 100 minutes of CPU time for every event, which includes star'ing a project.

Which means that if I use that to mine bitcoin, you can transfer a little bit of Microsoft's money to me by liking my project.

Sustainable funding model for OSS development? 😉

* transfer CPU time from from OSS projects to you via the medium of cryptomining, which is probably an awful use of that resource whether you're thinking about the other projects or the source of the power
