Stoked that the new voting machines in my area do all the input on a touch screen, and then print the results on a paper ballot. That paper is then transfered to a separate counting machine. Good stuff. Easy to audit.

@ted do they have a mandatory sufficient random audit?

@FLOX_advocate not sure of all the details, was surprised to see them when I walked up. But compared to our old ones, at least they COULD have an audit, which is a huge gain.

@ted I asked the recorder about it here during a public forum, we have a mandatory random audit. He claims it's statistically sufficient enough.
