I've been playing with HA and having fun automating some simple stuff.

@ted indeed I've seen that. I'll probably try and find a ZigBee solution first.

@paperdigits that would be nice. There seems to be very little ZigBee on the market though. It is my first choice, but it seems that everyone is going WiFi because "people have that."

I really want a Zigbee thermostat but I haven't found one that I really liked.

@ted I have a Centralite Perl thermostat, and it works great with zigbee2mqtt.

I've been using zigbee.blakadder.com/ as a guide to ZigBee things.
