Oof, I'm more a fan of "ya'll" than "y'all" but I guess it is decided at this point.
@ted It's how apostrophes work y'all. It's because y'all is short for you all, and you put the apostrophe between the two abbreviated words.
Did I guess right?
@Linux_in_a_Bit I bet that is their reasoning. But having three letters after the apostrophe feels weird to me.
@ted I definitely lean towards y'all - ya'll feels like it's short for 'ya will'. "Ya'll go to the store... He'll go to the post office... she'll go to the bakery... I'll go to the amusement park."
