On the bus home the other day with my phone in the single-digit battery zone, I noticed that the bus had USB charging ports! Sadly I am Smug USB C Guy so didn't have an A-to-C cable in my bag...

@brainwane yes, that was my second thought! I've had one in a drawer for probably half a decade, never used it in the wild.

@brainwane @wjt I have a couple, and I've used them.
But now with USB-C it needs to negotiate the power. So I'm not sure what to do there. There seem to be no PD based data stoppers.
