@charlag waste water goes through a water treatment plant that kills all kinds of disease through heavy chemical treatment.

Many times (though that's changing) it isn't even brought back into the drinking water system.

Advice is that you blow your nose in a tissue and throw it away. Wouldn't it be less infectious if we threw it in a toilet and flushed it? Why don't we do that?

I've always thought that gorp was a regional term from Colorado (it was what I've always used) but it seems to go back further than that. —

@paperdigits this is why you should identify all the fire exits before sitting down.

Still thinking about Dr. Paul Vixie's keynote at on DNS, and specifically his dislike of DoH.

While it definitely takes a tool out of the hands of those who can protect their networks, it probably makes sense as a default for those who can't.

I find the idea that brands should compensate for government failure to be dystopian. —

Can not agree with the Texas Democrats on this. The straight ticket voting encourages more identity politics, which may help them, but increases divisiveness in our society. —

We have toilets that are computer controlled.
We have sinks and hand driers that are computer controlled.

Why can't we have a light of shame for those who walk out of the bathroom and didn't wash their hands?

Afraid that most non-profits don't have the security policy or education to be able to handle these types of threats. —

Hardest part about attending tech conferences is... the fashion! I have so many cool tech t-shirts to wear and I have to decide.
