Bought WiFi on this flight so that I could play Civilization VI with my son. It doesn't seem to want to connect.

So, what we learned is that Civilization doesn't work at 30,000 feet. Doesn't bode well for humans on other planets.

Had breakfast tacos this morning, iced tea for lunch, preparing to leave Texas for a trip.

This is the last year for Santa in our house.

As Christmas music is playing every time Santa is mentioned my youngest is yelling out "Santa's fake!"

Got a new deodorant that is cedar scented. My wife says I smell "like a new deck." Trying to decide if she's being flirty or not.

And it took me 45 minutes on the phone to unsubscribe. I'd decided to based on the other issues, but that 45 minutes really steeled my opinion.

Unsubscribed from Dallas Morning News today. I support local news and paying for it to exist. But they discontinued RSS feeds, made it hard to use private mode, and restrict international readers.

I believe in the reporting, but DMN leadership doesn't believe in their readers.
